Capcom has outlined its strategic vision to embrace artificial intelligence within production pipelines during a recent corporate presentation concerning the upcoming evolution of its proprietary RE Engine.

At the Capcom Open Conference RE: 2026 event, programmer Satoshi Ishida delivered a technical talk detailing the massive challenges of scaling modern projects like Resident Evil, where routine procedures demand immense amounts of time.

To counter these production bottlenecks, Ishida stated that studios must successfully integrate such innovative tools into daily operations to boost overall efficiency, building slowly toward an advanced engine capable of collaborative creation.
