NetEase Games has revealed a fresh video for Marvel Rivals showcasing a new game mode inspired by Avengers: Infinity War, arriving alongside the season 10.5 update titled Path to Doomsday — Avengers: Infinity War.
The updated format brings twelve players onto the map separated into multiple groups of two participants. At the start of the match, every duo receives one of the Infinity Stones granting special abilities during gameplay.
Specific stones offer distinct advantages, such as the Time Stone allowing players to reverse time by a few seconds, while the Reality Stone changes enemy attacks into harmless bubbles.
Participants can also acquire cards between rounds to upgrade heroes throughout the match, while a teaser at the video end shows Thanos equipped with the Infinity Gauntlet.
