Publisher HappyTuk has released the Ice Operation update for the FPS title A.V.A. This content drop introduces the Snow Raid demolition map, set within a clandestine NRF military base located in a frozen mountain region. The update centers on a narrative conflict where EU forces attempt to intercept NRF research regarding combat-enhancing drugs.
The Snow Raid map features a layout of ice walls and research facilities that accommodate both long-range sniping and close-quarters combat. Players must control the central corridor to secure victory. Additionally, the update introduces the heavy-armored Berserker character, obtainable via the Ice Operation battle pass, and the M134 Medvedev heavy cannon.
The Berserker character utilizes a Heavy Mode that increases upper-body damage absorption and armor, though it prevents sprinting and reloading. Tactical gear additions include the BK-01P Adrenaline Syringe, which reduces incoming damage at the cost of temporary movement speed, and the CU686 Scout Goggles, which display enemy health and mitigate flashbang effects.
The update also adds the Stronghold series weapons, including the M40A5 and SVD Styrkr sniper rifles. Interface improvements include a more prominent quick-match button and a new feature allowing players to reset individual weapon performance statistics.
