8BitDo has officially unveiled the Ultimate 3C+ Wireless controller, a new peripheral priced at $39.99. The device introduces several hardware enhancements aimed at improving player precision and comfort during gaming sessions.
The controller features Dual Force Ring joysticks, which allow users to adjust tension and utilize soft-stop silicone rings for a smoother feel. These sticks are powered by a 216MHz processor and a 12-bit ADC sampling chip to ensure rapid response times.
Functionality is expanded through switchable Hall Effect triggers that toggle between linear and tactile modes. Additionally, the unit includes remappable L4 and R4 bumpers, two back buttons with a physical lock mechanism, and synchronized vibration feedback in the grips and triggers.
Designed for improved ergonomics, the device features a wider grip angle than the previous Ultimate 2C model. Connectivity is handled via 8Speed 2.4G wireless technology, offering a 1000Hz polling rate and latency as low as 1ms. Pre-orders are currently available, with the official launch scheduled for October 30th, 2026.
