Independent game development team Chaos Cat Games has launched a free playable demo for their online cooperative puzzle action game, NICO DRAW, on Steam. The title is also scheduled to participate in the October Steam Next Fest.
NICO DRAW supports online cooperation for up to four players, allowing friends to work together to reach the finish line. A core feature of the game is that players can personally draw their own character bodies, where the shape and ink distribution directly impact character abilities and puzzle solutions.
The game features five distinct character types: humans, cats, birds, turtles, and slimes, each equipped with unique abilities. Players can lift and throw partners, grab companions to move together, glide, use turtle shells to block attacks, and stick to walls to overcome various obstacles.
The current free demo includes 8 stages and supports 2 to 4 players in online co-op. Meanwhile, the official full version of NICO DRAW is projected to launch in December 2026 with a planned total of 45 stages.
