Battlefield 6 has officially entered Season 5, marking the beginning of the second year for both the game and the REDSEC expansion. Players are now deployed to the Las Vegas area, featuring three new maps that span the iconic Vegas Strip and the desert surroundings of Area 51, complete with secret tunnels.
The update expands the player arsenal with six additional weapons and two new vehicles. Furthermore, the game introduces the Operation High Roller event, while also bringing back updated versions of the Blackwell Oil Fields and New Sobek maps from previous seasons.
A new free mode called Rapid Royale is now available, encouraging aggressive gameplay by rewarding players with respawns for securing kills. This launch also coincides with the start of the Battle Royale ranked season alongside the Open Series, with a mysterious event teased for the upcoming Halloween period.
Beyond the new content, players can now compete on multiplayer leaderboards or organize their own platoons with friends. The developer has also provided a quiz for users to test their knowledge regarding the latest seasonal additions.
