NetEase Games and Everstone Studio announced that the martial arts game Where Winds Meet will introduce a new region called Qingzhou on the 15th. This area features the Sanhai landscape, where mountains meet the sea, extending the player's journey eastward with new exploration elements and a culture deeply rooted in Confucianism.
The region offers diverse terrain, ranging from eastern peaks to pine-covered mountain paths near tidal flats where the Yellow River meets the sea. Players will encounter local residents who assist travelers and fight alongside them. Additionally, the fog-covered Penglai Island is scheduled to open on the 29th, revealing stories hidden within coastal academies.
A new sect, Wenjinkuan, focuses on debate, art, and music. It introduces the Wisdom Duel, a card-based PvP mode involving psychological warfare and wit. Players can join as guest scholars to learn skills while maintaining their current sect affiliation. Combat is further expanded with the Silk Drum, a support weapon that uses ribbons to stun or silence enemies and drumming to buff allies.
Qingzhou introduces three world bosses: the flower-spear wielding Wave Watcher, the staff-fighting Raft Elder, and the shuttlecock-kicking bandit leader Zhu Yinghan. Further details are available on the official website and Naver Lounge.
