The global version of MapleStory Classic World will launch a beta service featuring official Korean language support starting on the 15th. This update was confirmed by the game's management team through their official Discord channel on the 13th.
The inclusion of Korean text is expected to lower language barriers for players, making the experience more accessible for those who previously found the English interface challenging to navigate.
Despite this language update, the developers clarified that it does not signal a change in regional service policies. Domestic users must still utilize a VPN to access the global servers, as the language support is distinct from official domestic service availability.
While the language update aims to improve usability, it does not resolve broader domestic access limitations. Additionally, the sale of the Founders Access Package is scheduled to conclude on the 14th.
