Installation
- Close the game and back up your profile and mod-manager configuration.
- Install the public PC update through Steam, then check the original notice for console rollout information.
- For a modded setup, verify mod compatibility with the updated game before enabling the profile again.
Removal · recovery
- Use a clean mod-manager profile or disable incompatible mods when diagnosing update problems.
- Verify game files through Steam if needed. Keep profile backups; verification does not restore an older game version.
