Installation

  1. Close the game and back up your profile and mod-manager configuration.
  2. Install the public PC update through Steam, then check the original notice for console rollout information.
  3. For a modded setup, verify mod compatibility with the updated game before enabling the profile again.

Removal · recovery

  1. Use a clean mod-manager profile or disable incompatible mods when diagnosing update problems.
  2. Verify game files through Steam if needed. Keep profile backups; verification does not restore an older game version.
