Microsoft announced that Battlefield 6 will be added to Xbox Game Pass on October 13. This release coincides with the start of Season 5 for the title, which originally launched on October 10, 2025.
The update introduces the Las Vegas setting, featuring the Vegas Strip and Area 51 maps. Additional content includes six weapons, two vehicles, a Rapid Royale mode for REDSEC, and the introduction of Platoons, with a server browser scheduled for later in the season.
Subscribers on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud platforms can access the game. However, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, launching October 23, will not be available on Game Pass at launch. Microsoft previously adjusted its subscription strategy in April, setting Game Pass Ultimate at $22.99 and PC Game Pass at $13.99.
While Modern Warfare 4 requires a $69.99 purchase, the arrival of Battlefield 6 on the service may increase its player count. It remains uncertain if this growth will persist following the multiplayer debut of the new Call of Duty entry.
