Rockstar Games has introduced a series of Halloween-themed updates to Red Dead Online, the multiplayer component of Red Dead Redemption 2. Throughout the month, players can engage in various activities centered around supernatural phenomena, including investigations into undead creatures and artificial life reports.
The Strange Tales of the West event offers players 4X RDO$, gold, and experience for completing specific investigations. Additionally, the All Hallows’ Call to Arms mode tasks players with defending survivor settlements, providing opportunities to unlock rare items for the returning Halloween Pass 2, which spans 15 levels.
Players can earn triple rewards by selling animal samples to Harriet Davenport. Furthermore, completing any Blood Money contract between October 20 and October 26 grants a free weapon. The game also features a rotating schedule of Halloween Series events offering triple RDO$ and XP, starting with Halloween Series 2 from October 13 to 19.
While Rockstar continues to support Red Dead Redemption 2, the company is currently prioritizing the development of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is scheduled for release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
