The release date has been announced for the dark Three Kingdoms action RPG Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, which is scheduled to launch on March 4, 2027. Accompanying the release date announcement trailer, a limited-time alpha demo has been made available starting today through September 30.
In the alpha demo, players can experience a portion of the Changban stage, utilize cooperative multiplayer and character creation features, and fight the boss Wuzhiqi to earn the 'Fengchu Helmet' bonus item for the full version. Pre-orders have also opened today, offering the 'Nuwa's Battle Garb' armor set as a digital pre-order bonus alongside a Digital Deluxe Edition that includes a season pass and digital media.
Wo Long 2 features open-field environments depicting famous Three Kingdoms locations like Changban and Chibi, allowing players to approach enemy bases and monster lairs with various strategies. The combat system builds on the previous game with deflection, martial arts, and the new 'Huangqi' mechanic, which enhances acrobatic maneuvers to handle powerful enemies, immortals, and legendary fiends within an original story that also welcomes newcomers.
