Developer Fuse Games is already working on an upcoming update for Star Wars: Galactic Racer to increase the maximum online party size from three to six players. The studio confirmed it will double the number of players who can form a single group, addressing community requests made prior to the game's release on October 6, 2026.
The update is planned to arrive during the first few weeks following launch, though a specific release date has not yet been announced. Once implemented, half of the 12 total participants in a multiplayer match can consist of members from the same invited group. However, private lobbies have not been confirmed yet by the studio.
Developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode, Star Wars: Galactic Racer is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Amazon Luna. The arcade racing title is set following the fall of the Empire and features both a campaign and online multiplayer modes.
