The group identified as CyberLeek has issued a threat to release a complete build of Grand Theft Auto 6, purportedly containing the full story mode and end credits. This ultimatum is contingent upon their memecoin reaching a market capitalization of $30 million, rising from an initial $3.8 million.
The group demands that Take-Two Interactive issue a public apology and commit to physical disk releases. This follows previous unauthorized disclosures, including 24 minutes of gameplay footage, story elements, and a first-person camera mode, which the group used to pressure Rockstar regarding its all-digital launch strategy.
Take-Two has initiated legal action by filing subpoenas against Microsoft, Discord, and X to identify the alleged infringers. Legal filings characterize the leaked material as unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted work, while Rockstar expressed that the situation has been heartbreaking for their development team.
The authenticity and contents of the build claimed by CyberLeek remain unverified. Despite the leaks, Rockstar maintains that the intended game experience is scheduled for release on November 19, urging players to wait for the official launch.
