On October 9, Bandai Namco Experience announced a potential leak of member information from the Wangan Midnight Arcade Portal, which serves the arcade racing game Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6RR PLUS.
The breach originated from unauthorized external access to the Commune community system, which is utilized as the site's infrastructure. The portal's operations are currently outsourced to Commune Inc.
While the company has identified the categories of potentially compromised data, it stated that no unauthorized use of this information has been confirmed at this time.
Users are advised to change their passwords and remain vigilant against suspicious emails. The portal service remains suspended, with plans to announce its resumption at a later date.
