Key information
HoYoverse has officially announced a collaboration between its action title Zenless Zone Zero and the turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail. This crossover event is scheduled to arrive in the upcoming 3.4 version update, following the 3.3 update titled 'Reaching for the Sky' which launches on November 21.
The collaboration will introduce popular characters Kafka and Robin from Honkai: Star Rail into the world of New Eridu. These additions are part of a broader content roadmap revealed during the recent 3.3 version update livestream, which also detailed new S-rank agents like Phoenix and Severian for the preceding update.
Beyond the crossover, the 3.3 update introduces mechanical robot combat, allowing players to switch between melee and ranged attacks. These robots can utilize environmental hazards, fire laser weapons, and solve puzzles. Additionally, the update features a new story arc involving the blockade of New Eridu and the mysteries surrounding the island of Roscalipa.
System improvements include a new party recommendation feature by Fairy, enhanced character tutorials, and refined keyboard and mouse controls for mobile users. Furthermore, HoYoverse confirmed its participation in the G-STAR 2026 game show in Busan this November, where Zenless Zone Zero will be featured with various on-site events.
