Key information
The global CBT for NC's new title Astrae Oratio, developed by Dynamis One, runs from the 2nd to the 6th. This test allows players to experience core content such as combat and progression firsthand on mobile environments prior to the official launch.
Combat in Astrae Oratio is turn-based, with each round split into an action phase and a judgment phase. Players can check upcoming enemy actions displayed via icons beneath the enemy HP bar and select matching responses to prevent damage and continue attacking. Specific actions require precise timing, such as counter skills for preemptive attacks marked by yellow shields, or tag defense skills and character switches to handle unblockable attacks marked by red crossed swords.
Progression for mages is centered around level ups, phase enhancements, artifacts, skill enhancements, kleis, and magic nodes. Mage level serves as a foundational requirement that unlocks additional rune slots and raises maximum skill level caps, while artifacts, runes, and vignettes further enhance stats and party-wide effects.
