Key information
Developer Daniel Mullins has opened playtest sign-ups for his upcoming title, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus. Interested players can register their interest directly through the game's official Steam page.
The sequel promises a complex mix of genres, featuring 3D exploration, archery, bullet heaven mechanics, and various minigames. It also incorporates FMV cutscenes and dungeon-crawling elements, with a scheduled release date of April 27th, 2027.
While awaiting the sequel, players can acquire the original Pony Island for free on Steam. This offer is available until October 12th, allowing users to keep the decade-old title permanently once added to their accounts.
The announcement follows a new trailer showcased during the Triple-i Initiative, which highlighted the game's diverse gameplay styles. Entry into the playtest is not guaranteed for all applicants.
