Key information

Microsoft has officially unveiled the Xbox Nano Controller, a new peripheral designed specifically for portability. The device is small enough to fit comfortably inside a pocket, aiming to provide a convenient gaming experience for users on the go.

The controller measures approximately 12.7 cm in length and weighs only 100 grams, making it lighter and shorter than most modern smartphones. Despite its compact size, it retains the 18 standard buttons found on traditional controllers and includes a programmable action button for shortcuts like screen captures or recording gameplay. It also features a rechargeable battery and will retail for 49.99 euros.

Compatibility is broad, extending to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Windows, Android, and iOS devices. This makes the hardware a suitable option for players utilizing Xbox Cloud Gaming or those requiring an additional controller for local multiplayer sessions.

Interested customers can currently place pre-orders for the device. The Xbox Nano Controller is scheduled for release during the month of November.
