Key information
Microsoft's subscription catalog will remove eight titles on October 15, according to a recent report. Subscribers have approximately two weeks to complete these games before they leave the service or take advantage of exclusive member discounts to purchase them permanently.
The most notable departure is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a title widely regarded as the Game of Another Year. Additionally, A Plague Tale: Requiem is leaving the lineup, though its departure is somewhat offset by the recent Day One arrival of its direct sequel, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
The broader list of departing titles also features Evil West, Pacific Drive, and The Casting of Frank Stone. Developers of Clair Obscur were previously advised against using the term turn-based combat, expressed interest in bringing the game to the Switch 2 despite Unreal Engine 5 obstacles, and reached a new sales milestone.
