SpaceXSI has introduced "The X Subscription," a new tiered service that integrates X Premium features with Grok, Grok Bot, and the coding tool Cursor. This update replaces the previous X Premium tiers, which are no longer accepting new subscribers. The new structure consists of five levels: Free, Plus, Premium, Super, and Ultra.
The Plus tier, which corresponds to the former X Premium, includes the blue verification badge, ad reduction, and post monetization. A significant change is the inclusion of AI tools; Plus subscribers now gain access to Grok chat, image generation, and Cursor. These AI resources are shared across platforms and updated weekly.
Pricing varies by region and platform. In Japan, the Web-based Plus plan costs 1,280 yen monthly, representing a 300 yen increase over the previous 980 yen tier. Conversely, the new Premium tier, which includes features previously found in X Premium+, is priced at 5,280 yen, an 800 yen decrease. Existing subscribers retain their current plans for now, though SpaceXSI intends to migrate them eventually.
Higher tiers like Super and Ultra offer increased AI usage limits, reaching up to 50 times the capacity of the Plus tier. While the service is available now, users should note that switching to the new plans is irreversible. Additionally, in-app purchases on platforms like iPhone may incur higher costs compared to the Web version.
