Key information
On October 14, 2026, ASUS JAPAN announced the domestic release of two new Republic of Gamers OLED displays, the 31.5-inch ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS and the 26.5-inch ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2, scheduled for October 16.
Both monitors feature TrueBlack Glossy panels to reduce reflections and include Neo proximity sensors that automatically switch to a black screen when the user is away to mitigate burn-in risks. ASUS provides a three-year warranty that covers panel burn-in for both models.
The XG32UQWMS utilizes a tandem WOLED panel from LG Display, which reportedly offers a 15 percent increase in maximum brightness, a 25 percent larger color gamut, and up to 60 percent longer lifespan compared to existing WOLED panels. It supports dual-mode operation, allowing users to switch between 3840x2160 at 240Hz and 1920x1080 at 480Hz. The display is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible Monitors.
The XG27AQDMG Gen2 features a 26.5-inch WOLED panel with a 2560x1440 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, lacking the dual-mode capability of the larger model. It supports VESA Adaptive-Sync. Both displays include DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a dual-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A hub, though neither unit includes a KVM switch.
