Key information
The Sheltered Retreat project in Arc Raiders tasks players with capturing a photograph of a farmland house near the Ruined Homestead. This location is situated in the southern portion of The Blue Gate map, specifically adjacent to the Olive Grove.
Completing this objective now requires an uncommon camera item, as players can no longer simply interact with structures to take pictures. This change necessitates that players carry the gear during expeditions, preventing the use of free loadouts for these specific tasks.
Cameras can be acquired by purchasing them from Shani for 1.9k, crafting them at a basic workbench using 8x Plastic Parts and 1x Wire, or by accepting specific quests like Sizing Things Up.
Once at the Ruined Homestead, players must equip the camera, aim using the right mouse button, and snap the photo with the left mouse button. Any main farm building in the vicinity is sufficient to complete the mission stage.
