Key information
Developer Bulkhead is preparing for the launch of Wardogs Season 2, which aims to evolve the game rather than reinvent it. Following the conclusion of Season 1, the studio is implementing a wipe ahead of the new content release scheduled for Thursday, October 15.
The update introduces four new weapons, including the TCX Spear, M14, PP-19 Bizon, and Evo-3 Ultra, alongside various attachments. Players will also gain access to new vehicles such as the Wolf-110 transport, the T-72 tank, and the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air unit. Additionally, builders can utilize new base structures like the MG Nest and large shelters.
Significant gameplay changes include the introduction of dynamic weather, such as rain and thunderstorms, which can mask gunfire and movement. Furthermore, a new Wager Vendor allows players to bet in-game currency on their own performance, with higher difficulty objectives offering greater potential returns.
PCGamesN notes that the game remains in early access, which provides Bulkhead the flexibility to experiment with the meta. While the publication highlights the game's high level of polish, it suggests that the pre-1.0 status serves as a strategic advantage for the developer to iterate on features.
