Key information

Bulkhead has officially acknowledged that the Lonestar faction, known as the blue team, currently experiences a lower win rate compared to other teams in Wardogs. While the team's win percentage was approximately 10% during the alpha phase, it has since improved to roughly 20% as players increasingly join the faction to embrace the underdog challenge.

To address this imbalance, the developers are implementing significant map adjustments for the upcoming Season 2. Specifically, the team is relocating spawn points for all three factions on the Bakurani map. Senior producer Kane Allard stated that internal testing indicates these changes have successfully balanced the map's performance.

Beyond map modifications, Bulkhead is introducing additional incentives to bolster Lonestar. These measures include adjusting uniform saturation to improve camouflage, providing XP and cash bonuses for Lonestar participants, and placing recruitment posters within the spawn areas of opposing teams.

These updates are scheduled to arrive with the launch of Wardogs Season 2 on October 15. The developer hopes these combined efforts will help shift the community perception that has historically hindered the blue team's competitive standing.
