Key information

The development team at Bulkhead has officially acknowledged that the Lonestar faction, known as the blue team, experiences a lower win rate compared to other teams in Wardogs. Since the game's launch in early September, the team has faced a persistent reputation for losing, which developers attribute partly to a negative public perception that discourages competitive players from joining their ranks.

Data provided by Bulkhead indicates that Lonestar's win percentage has improved from approximately 10% during the alpha phase to roughly 20% in recent weeks. This shift is partially credited to players intentionally selecting the blue team to embrace the challenge of playing as the underdog.

To address these balance issues, the upcoming Season 2 update will introduce significant map adjustments. Senior producer Kane Allard confirmed that all three team spawns on the Bakurani map have been relocated to revitalize the environment. Internal testing suggests these changes have successfully balanced the map, as Lonestar previously suffered disproportionate losses on this specific terrain.

Additional measures to support Lonestar include updated uniform saturation for better camouflage, new XP and cash incentives for players, and in-game posters encouraging team switching. These updates are scheduled to arrive with the launch of Season 2 on October 15.
