Key information
Walmart is offering the Onn 512GB MicroSD Express Memory Card in stock for $84.77 with free shipping, while the 256GB model is available for $46.77. Shoppers can potentially use an unadvertised coupon code, SAVE3X, to take an additional $10 off either card, reducing the prices to $74.77 and $36.77 respectively.
The coupon's official terms state it is valid on the first three online pickup or delivery orders for new customers, though it has been confirmed to work for many returning customers as well.
The Nintendo Switch 2 includes 256GB of onboard storage, but older standard MicroSD cards from previous Nintendo Switch consoles are incompatible. The new Onn MicroSD Express card features write speeds of 800MB/s and read speeds of 600MB/s.
Several newly released Switch 2 games require substantial storage space, such as Final Fantasy 14 at approximately 117GB, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade at 90GB, Split Fiction at 70GB, Cyberpunk 2077 at 60GB, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment at 44GB.
