Key information
Parent company viviON announced a comprehensive restructuring of the VTuber group Aogiri High School on October 15. This decision follows a series of operational errors, most notably the last-minute postponement of member Chiyoura Chiemi’s fifth-anniversary concert, which was announced just two days before the scheduled September event.
To address these failures, the company admitted a lack of formal decision-making and progress management systems. New protocols now mandate clear role definitions for project leads and staff, alongside strict progress checks at every production stage. Furthermore, the official social media account management has been overhauled, with tightened access controls and review procedures to prevent unauthorized posts.
The operational review resulted in the cancellation of the group music festival previously planned for December, as the company concluded it could not responsibly deliver a satisfactory performance under current conditions. Additionally, the official YouTube channel will resume updates in October, focusing on collaborative content featuring multiple members.
Moving forward, viviON intends to reallocate resources to better support individual member activities, including production and commercial collaborations. The company also issued a stern warning regarding online defamation, stating it will take legal action against the spread of false information or images that threaten the privacy of its staff and talent.
