Key information

Solo developer Daniel Stubbington, also known as Stubby Games, is following up on the adventure title The Entropy Centre with a fast-paced cyberpunk roguelite first-person shooter named VOID/BREAKER. Players face a hostile artificial intelligence while exploring diverse cyberpunk areas and destroying thousands of robots using grenades, lasers, and futuristic equipment.

The core gameplay loop centers on carrying a single weapon at a time while thoroughly modifying it through a mod system designed to alter capabilities and build synergies. Additionally, environmental destruction mechanics allow players to reshape arenas using a pickaxe or C4 explosives to escape tight spots.

A demo is currently available with progress carrying over into the final version, building on positive feedback found on Steam. VOID/BREAKER is scheduled to leave early access on November 4 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, alongside a 30 percent promotional discount reducing the price to 18,89€ until October 8.
