Key information
According to an email obtained by Variety on Tuesday evening, Skydance president Andy Gordon announced that the games and experiences divisions of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery will merge into a single united group. This combined unit will manage major properties from both companies.
The consolidation joins the newly established Paramount Games Studio with internal Warner Bros. Games developers. Affected studios include Avalanche Software, Rocksteady Studios, NetherRealm Studios, TT Games, along with regional WB Games teams located in Boston and Montreal.
Gordon also established executive leadership roles outside of television and film divisions. Tony Driscoll will head the games and experiences unit alongside corporate strategy, while Josh Silverman takes charge of global products and publishing. Jim Sterner remains chief people officer.
Additional leadership assignments include Jose Turkienicz continuing as president of global operations and Jeff Silberman serving as chief of staff. Driscoll stated in his own memo that his immediate priority is meeting staff across various global locations from Los Angeles to London.
