Following the conclusion of the main Dr. Stone anime in June 2026, a new production titled Dr. Stone Terraforming has been officially announced. This project serves as a continuation of the scientific adventures of Senku and his allies rather than a new season of the primary narrative.
The announcement occurred on October 10, 2026, at the STONE FES.2026 event in Yokohama. Attendees were presented with a promotional video featuring new dialogue recorded by Yusuke Kobayashi, the Japanese voice actor for the protagonist, Senku Ishigami.
The upcoming production will adapt an additional episode found in the 27th volume of the original manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi. According to VIZ Media, the plot involves the characters attempting to construct a time machine after receiving a mysterious message from the future.
