Mantic Games has launched a new wave of expansions for its tabletop miniature game, Halo: Flashpoint. The latest addition, Banished Reinforcements, introduces new units to support Elite and Brute forces in their ongoing conflict against the UNSC.

This expansion operates under the 1.5 Ruleset, which provides consolidated rules and balance updates following two years of content. The included cards are fully compatible with these updated mechanics, eliminating the need for a separate unit card purchase.

The box features pre-assembled plastic miniatures, including a Sangheili Enforcer, Kig-Yar snipers and freebooters, and various Unggoy units. GamingTrend noted that the updated plastic quality is a significant improvement over earlier, softer materials. The reviewer praised the inclusion of attachable energy shields for the Kig-Yar, noting that these details enhance the visual appeal of the pieces.

Gameplay additions include the Unggoy Plasma Grenade Assault order card, which allows players to pin and scatter enemy units. While the reviewer highlighted the strategic potential of using Unggoy swarms, they also noted that these units are fragile, as the attack itself can potentially knock them out at their three HP threshold.
