Key information

Ubisoft has officially announced the decision to sunset Rainbow Six Mobile. The title, which originally launched on February 23, 2026, will have its servers permanently closed on January 15, 2027.

The game featured asymmetrical 5v5 FPS mechanics, drawing inspiration from the PC version of Rainbow Six Siege. It utilized the classic Attack versus Defense mode and included various Operators for players to control.

Despite the closure announcement, Ubisoft confirmed that the next season will still be released as scheduled next week. The company has not provided a specific reason for the decision to discontinue the mobile project.

Prior to this news, the game had seen recent updates, including the Operation Concrete Impact season in early September and a collaboration with Payday that introduced new collectible cosmetics.
