Key information
Amazon has reduced the price of a Skytech prebuilt gaming desktop to $1,499.99, which includes free shipping for a limited time. This system is marketed as a capable machine for 1080p and 1440p gaming, with the ability to handle 4K titles.
The hardware configuration features an air-cooled AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor, which is a 6-core, 12-thread CPU reaching boost speeds of 5.1GHz. Graphics are handled by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB card, supported by 16GB of DDR5-6000MHz RAM and a 1TB M.2 SSD. A 750W 80Plus Gold power supply provides energy for the components.
According to IGN commerce manager Eric Song, the RTX 5070 provides a performance increase over the RTX 4070 Super. He notes that frame rate improvements are more significant in titles utilizing DLSS 4.5 with multi-frame generation. While the card is recommended for 1080p and 1440p, Song suggests that users seeking 4K performance might see better results with an RTX 5070 Ti.
This deal arrives as standalone RTX 5070 graphics cards are currently priced starting at $800 on Amazon. The promotion is highlighted by the IGN Deals team as part of their ongoing coverage of online discounts.
