Nintendo has officially unveiled an overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5. This release serves as a completely reborn version of the classic title, inviting players to join Link on his journey through Hyrule.

The remake introduces several gameplay innovations, including the ability for the Switch 2 microphone to detect melodies hummed or played on real instruments to trigger in-game ocarina responses. Additionally, players can visit the Hall of Fallen Heroes to view statues of defeated enemies or initiate rematch battles.

Technical enhancements for this version include overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue, and a full symphonic orchestral score. The game also integrates with the ZELDA NOTES service via the Nintendo Switch App on compatible smart devices.

Support for amiibo figures is included, with existing Legend of Zelda series figures providing rewards. Furthermore, two new dedicated amiibo figures are slated for release in 2027 to unlock special in-game masks. This launch coincides with the 40th anniversary of the original Legend of Zelda franchise.
