Key information
Walmart launched a limited-time deal featuring the 27-inch Acer Nitro QD-OLED gaming monitor at a price of $269 with free shipping included. This display pairs quantum dot technology with a fast 240Hz refresh rate on a true OLED panel.
The model VG277U Xbiip offers a 2560x1440 resolution with a pixel density of 109ppi, utilizing Samsung's quantum dot OLED panel for higher brightness and a wider color gamut. OLED panels deliver true black levels, near-infinite contrast ratios, and instantaneous response times.
The display provides a native 240Hz refresh rate suited for high-speed motion games and first person shooters. Users require an appropriate graphics card to reach 240fps on QHD, such as an RTX 5070 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, or an RTX 5070 for specific older titles. It lacks G-Sync validation but supports FreeSync compatibility mode.
Additionally, the Acer Nitro gaming monitor comes backed by a 3-year warranty.
