Taiwanese solo developer The Lunatic Cell has officially launched the Steam store page for its upcoming visual novel, The Co-Exist Files. This short-form horror title centers on an invasion triggered by humanoid parasitic monsters, tasking players with uncovering the truth behind a bloody nightmare that disrupts everyday life.
The gameplay experience emphasizes psychological thrills and body horror elements, featuring a narrative structure that includes constant plot twists. Players will engage in New Weird-style analytical deduction to progress through the story, accompanied by a soundtrack consisting of 8 original musical compositions.
The title is designed as a single-player experience for the Windows platform. It will support Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English language options upon its release.
