Key information

An official update for Team Fortress 2 has been released by the publisher. Players can expect the patch to be applied automatically upon restarting the game client.

The update introduces the new sv_wallbug convar, designed to restore previous movement behavior specifically for community servers. Furthermore, several critical technical issues have been resolved, including a fix for view jitter during extended play sessions and a crash linked to snd_mix_async, alongside resolving sv_parallel_sendsnapshot.

Various cosmetic and contract fixes are included in the release. The Marshlands contract issue was resolved and its winlimit updated to match last year, while objectives for Outburst and Scaredy-Cat were adjusted. Fixes were also applied to items such as the Skeleton Crew, Bone Chiller, Bounty Hunter's Brim, and Clowning Cowl.

Several custom maps received targeted updates and boundary adjustments to prevent out-of-bounds exploits involving Zombie Engineer beacons. Limits for new custom maps were increased, and a -notjuncsdetail option was added to VBSP alongside a fix for wall-stuck bugs.
