Within the Pacific region, Paper Rex, T1, and Nongshim RedForce secured their spots in the playoffs. Paper Rex advanced early as group leader by defeating Team Liquid and G2. T1 and Nongshim RedForce rebounded from opening losses to win their next two matches, with T1 defeating FUT Esports 2 to 0 and Nongshim advancing in their initial appearance.
All four Americas region teams survived, dropping only 5 out of 22 sets, while 100 Thieves advanced without losing a single set. Conversely, all CN teams exited the tournament, and Team Vitality remained the sole representative from the EMEA region.
The double-elimination playoffs feature a notable matchup between NRG and T1 on October 7, and Nongshim RedForce will face Team Vitality on October 8. Pacific teams aim for their first tournament title, as Paper Rex previously achieved the region's best finish as runner-up in 2023.
