Key information
Cyber Gadget has unveiled the CYBER Dock Protect Cover, a new accessory designed for the Nintendo Switch 2 dock. The product is scheduled for release in early December with an open pricing model and a suggested retail price of 1,650 yen.
The cover is engineered to protect the front of the dock from scratches and dirt caused by accidental falls or contact with other devices. Users can install it by sliding the cover over the top of the dock, and the design ensures it does not interfere with inserting or removing the console. It is also compatible with the company's existing dust prevention cover.
Constructed from high-transparency polycarbonate, the accessory aims to preserve the aesthetic of the dock. This allows users to display special editions, such as the Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition, while keeping the hardware protected. The product is an original creation by Cyber Gadget and is not officially licensed by Nintendo.
The clear-colored cover is specifically designed for the Nintendo Switch 2 dock. Cyber Gadget notes that the current product specifications and images are based on development versions and may differ from the final retail release.
