Key information
A new demo for the surreal corporate horror deckbuilder Mr Magpie's Harmless Card Game is now available for players to experience. Published by Behaviour Interactive and Gambit Digital, the title invites users into a nightmarish office environment managed by a smiling puppet.
The gameplay blends roguelike deckbuilding with mechanics inspired by Minesweeper and push-your-luck card flipping. Players must navigate logical deduction while managing risks, including avoiding specific JERRY cards, which are described as evil.
The experience features multiple character classes and global Perks that allow for run-altering synergies. Between card sessions, players can explore the workplace to uncover secrets omitted from the official employee handbook.
Content warnings include implied mystery drug use and drug testing. Additionally, the game depicts the player sustaining harm through punishments inflicted by opponents during rounds. The demo is currently accessible via Steam.
