Key information
Developer Bunnyhop has unveiled its upcoming sandbox title, Brick Buddies, on Steam. The game focuses on simulating the tactile experience of assembling physical building blocks and supports cooperative play for up to four users. A release is currently scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
Players follow digital instruction manuals to construct various models, such as pirate ships, spaceships, and country cottages. The assembly process mimics reality, requiring users to open parts bags, sort through scattered pieces on a workbench, and snap components together, which triggers a satisfying clicking sound upon successful connection.
Once construction is complete, players can interact with their creations by applying decorative stickers or manipulating fine details like opening doors and adjusting curtains. The game features 33 distinct models across 11 themes, utilizing a total of over 6,000 individual brick pieces.
Beyond assembly, completing all models within a specific theme unlocks heartwarming stories tied to that set. The Steam page for Brick Buddies is now live, offering support for Traditional Chinese, and interested players can add the title to their wishlists.
