Turkish independent game studio Babs Games has announced that its upcoming multiplayer party game Chair Chase is scheduled for release on November 3. The developer also revealed that a free demo will be featured during the Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 19 to 26.
Designed for two to eight players online, the game puts a chaotic twist on the classic game of musical chairs by introducing living seats that actively attempt to flee, hide, and perform parkour inside a large house. When a player manages to catch a chair, they must survive a brief balance duel to stay seated while opponents try to push them off.
Matches consist of seven rounds where the highest-scoring player wins. Victorious participants earn points and keys, which can be used alongside inter-mission shops and chests to acquire items like jetpacks and glue guns to aid in the chaotic multiplayer brawls.
