Key information
Fuse Games has developed Star Wars: Galactic Racer, an upcoming racing title set within the popular Star Wars franchise, scheduled for official release on October 6, 2026.
The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through Steam.
Ahead of its release, the title achieved an aggregate score of 88 on Metacritic based on 54 critic reviews recorded as of Monday, October 5.
The review breakdown consists of 12 reviews for Xbox Series X, 15 for PC, and the remaining majority originating from the PlayStation 5 platform.
This score places it ahead of several franchise titles, such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from 2023 which scored 85, and the original 2004 Star Wars: Battlefront which earned 80.
However, the current Metacritic score remains subject to potential changes after the game officially launches.
