Key information
A recent Twitch stream revealed the upcoming content for the second season pass of Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Scheduled for release on Nov. 3rd, the pass is priced at $30 and includes four distinct packs, each featuring a new track.
The expansion packs introduce diverse collaborations, including Godzilla, Evangelion with playable Rei and Asuka, and Hello Kitty featuring Kitty and Kuromi. Additionally, the Segaland pack offers vehicles inspired by Virtua Fighter, Outrun, and Afterburner, while a bonus incentive provides vehicles themed after the Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast consoles. Players who own both the first and second season passes will unlock Super Shadow and a corresponding vehicle.
Year two updates also introduce gameplay enhancements such as Dual Match, a one-vs-one mode for CPU or online play. Furthermore, a new Grand Master plate will be available, providing a seventh gadget slot that amplifies the effects of equipped items.
Alongside these additions, the base game price has been reduced to $40. The deluxe edition, which bundles season one content like Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Minecraft, is now priced at $60. A physical Year One Edition is also slated for release later this year.
