Hamster is bringing the classic SNK golf title Fighting Golf to modern gaming platforms. The digital release is scheduled to arrive on October 8.
Originally launched by SNK in 1988, the sports title challenges players to pick one of four distinct golfers, each offering unique strengths in distance and precision. Participants face 18 diverse holes featuring challenging terrain elements including three rough types, two bunker styles, water hazards, and forests.
The gameplay incorporates supportive features for players navigating the course. Prior to each hole, helpful advice appears on screen, and the system automatically selects the optimal club based on the exact distance remaining to the pin.
Platform availability spans across multiple generations of hardware. Hamster will publish the title for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 under the Arcade Archives banner, while simultaneously launching it for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via Arcade Archives 2.
