A new modding platform called ReSkate has gained significant traction, allowing users to experience the online-only title Skate in an offline capacity. Developed by coders zee_x64 and ReGlitched, the tool has reportedly reached over 350,000 downloads as of last week and has contributed to an increase in active Steam users.

The platform enables players to access various game areas and utilize custom content like outfits and characters. While the creators prohibit unlocking paid or unreleased assets under threat of a ban, the software is designed to function exclusively with the current version of the game.

Developer Full Circle issued a statement clarifying that while they support community creativity, they oppose tools that bypass systems to unlock paid cosmetics or unreleased content. The studio emphasized that such actions negatively impact artists, brands, and the development team, though they are currently working on official, secure tools for community creation.

Despite the developer's stance, the project remains available with 163 forks on GitHub. Users are cautioned that the tool's availability could be temporary and that modifying the game carries inherent risks.
