Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a 3D platforming adventure originally released for the Wii in 2010, has officially launched on Nintendo Switch 2. The title follows Mickey Mouse as he travels to the Wasteland to restore color to the environment using a magical brush.

This remastered version introduces several technical enhancements, including high-definition graphics and an improved frame-rate compared to the version previously available on the first Nintendo Switch. The game also incorporates new motion control functionality via the Joy-Con 2, specifically featuring a mouse mode.

Developed by Purple Lamp and published by THQ Nordic, the remake features updated controls and new movement abilities for Mickey. These additions aim to refine the gameplay of the original title, which is noted for its personality and inclusion of forgotten Disney characters like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Regarding the quality of the remaster, previous assessments described the project as a great remaster of a solid platforming adventure. The game is now available for players on the new platform following its recent launch trailer announcement.
