Developer One or Eight has officially launched a free demo for their upcoming title, 'LOL, My Neighbor is the Demon King,' on Steam. This trial version introduces a new singing performance during the 'Demon Carnival' featuring the idol character Platina Goldcaster.
The game is a village-building action RPG set in a desolate world ruled by a Demon King. Players take on the role of an 'Outworlder' who lands right next to the Demon King's castle. Gameplay involves repairing structures, gathering materials, and recruiting companions to expand the village.
Players can utilize unique hats to change character classes and assign specific tasks to villagers. The demo allows users to play up to the first boss, with an estimated completion time of two to three hours.
The title is scheduled to participate in the Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 20, 2026, to October 27, 2026. The game supports Japanese, English, and Chinese languages, with system requirements targeting Windows 10 or 11.
